Stress, Diets, and How to Lose Weight When It’s Hard

Stress, Diets, and How to Lose Weight When It’s Hard

February 10, 2024

Most of us want to look good, and many of us want to lose weight. Why is it so hard? Because the conventional wisdom on how to lose weight is set up against you. The food pyramid is a lie. Eating cholesterol doesn’t cause high cholesterol. There’s no such thing as a thyroid problem or a hormone problem. These are always secondary to something else going on.

This week, on A Different Perspective, Dr. Jason Nobles dives into weight loss and explains how the system sets you up to fail – and how you can succeed in spite of that. What are some of the most common health wrongs, and how do you turn them into rights?

Some of the topics covered include:

  • Why the liver plays such a big role, and how to support it – what does liver health have to do with weight loss?
  • Why “it’s all in your head” is actually exactly why you’re having issues
  • What is aromatase, and what do keeping this hormone balanced and weight loss have to do with each other?
  • Adrenal glands and weight management
  • How to choose the best diet for you (hint: get tested!)

Dr. Jason also discusses the supplements Macuna seed and Passionflower. He breaks down how they help support the body to return to health so it can shed unneeded pounds – when that’s what your body needs. As always, remember to consult a Wellness Way doctor or certified health restoration coach to get yourself tested and learn how to support your specific needs. One size doesn’t fit all!
