Use this almond butter if a recipe calls for peanut butter but you’re allergic to peanuts. This almond butter is sugar free and has minimal ingredients, making it easy to make and easy for more people to eat, regardless of allergies.

*Remember to buy organic and avoid your food allergies when making this recipe! If you do not know what your food allergies are get them tested soon!


  • 3 cups raw almonds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Lay almonds flat on baking sheet and toast for 9 minutes, shaking halfway through
  3. Pour almonds into a food processor. Add salt. Blend on high, letting run anywhere from 10 minutes to 25 minutes. You will need to stop and scrape down the sides several times.
  4. If using a Vitamix or food processor, pour into blender, add salt, and blend on high. Use a toggle to push down so everything blends. It should be creamy within a few minutes.
  5. Store in jars in the fridge for up to one month.
