The Wellness Way –
About The Wellness Way in Westminster, Colorado
We understand that common is not normal, and unlike the restrictive healthcare mentality, we dig deeper to find answers to life-restricting health challenges.
We focus on overcoming the three main causes of interference in the body — trauma, toxins, and thoughts — to go beyond symptom-based care and address your unique physiology in a way that allows your mind and body to find an individualized path back to better health.
We don’t guess, we test; rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we utilize the most in-depth testing and cutting-edge diagnostic tools to uncover the hidden sources of health problems.
We provide the essential guidance to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles through a combination of testing, individual plans, and one-on-one guidance to restore your body to total wellness.
Meet Our Team
As a youth, Dr. Shannon Bundy played every sport her school offered. She was MVP of her softball team, the only girl on the soccer team, a second-degree black belt, and won first place as National Kickboxing Champion when she was 16. After graduation, she immediately went to college where she was in school for 8 years, sat constantly, completely stopped working out, and gave birth to 5 children. What a life flip! It does not take much to imagine the toll this took on her emotionally and physically. Fortunately, this started her journey on recognizing how the everyday health decisions we make “Toxins, Trauma, and Thoughts” greatly affect a persons quality of life.
Dr. Bundy specializes in health restoration. This means she thinks and acts differently to solve the health care challenges others cannot. This includes high quality testing, in-depth custom labs, and hands on support for her patients individual needs. This different perspective allows her to work with many different health conditions such as: autoimmune, cancer, hormones, thyroid, infertility, digestive concerns, physical ailments and so much more.
Graduating in 2017 from Texas Chiropractic College, she has an Associates in Biology, a Bachelors in Human Biology, and is a Doctor of Chiropractic. With her additional Wellness Way training and other certifications in chiropractic she feels her clinic captures what health should be focused on: full body care, healing from the inside out.
Dr. Samantha Leger is a proud Colorado native who loves serving her community. She is committed to empowering others to be active participants in their health and wellness through the science, art, and philosophy of chiropractic.
In 2014, Dr. Leger graduated from Regis University here in Denver, Colorado where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Exercise Science. In 2015, she made the choice to attend chiropractic school after working as a chiropractic assistant and seeing firsthand countless lives changed. Dr. Leger attended chiropractic school in Dallas, Texas at Parker University where she graduated with both her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and her Masters in Neuroscience. Since completing her graduate education Dr. Leger has also gained specialized training in soft tissue work with a certification in Dry Needling.
Her educational background and vast knowledge of the nervous system is unique. Dr. Leger’s primary focus is finding the root cause of your issue. One of the main reasons she was driven to the chiropractic profession was to gain a better understanding about her own health after being diagnosed with Grave’s Disease. In Dr. Leger’s experience she has worked with a wide variety of issues. Whether you are someone seeking care for acute pain, a chronic issue, wellness or simply wanting answers, Dr. Leger is dedicated to providing you with the best care possible.
When not in the office, Dr. Leger enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and playing basketball.
