About The Wellness Way in Woodbury, Minnesota

We understand that common is not normal, and unlike the restrictive healthcare mentality, we dig deeper to find answers to life-restricting health challenges.

We focus on overcoming the three main causes of interference in the body — trauma, toxins, and thoughts — to go beyond symptom-based care and address your unique physiology in a way that allows your mind and body to find an individualized path back to better health.

We don’t guess, we test; rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we utilize the most in-depth testing and cutting-edge diagnostic tools to uncover the hidden sources of health problems.

We provide the essential guidance to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles through a combination of testing, individual plans, and one-on-one guidance to restore your body to total wellness.

Dr. Jennifer Drews has recently moved to Woodbury, Minnesota to provide quality chiropractic care addressing all three T’s of the chiropractic philosophy: thoughts, traumas, and toxins. Her chiropractic education was completed at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

She completed extensive post graduate studies learning the Gonstead Method of Chiropractic. Graduating from the Troxell Intern Program, she has over 2,000+ hours of additional study where she learned and taught the Gonstead system to fellow students. Her preceptorship was completed at The Wellness Way in Green Bay with Dr. Patrick Flynn, Dr. Greg Abbott, Dr. Mitch Sutton, Dr. Jason Nobles, and Nicole Saleske FNP.

Dr. Drews is one of the few chiropractors that specializes in the Gonstead System of chiropractic. This brings a unique chiropractic adjustment, which provides a gentle, effective approach to renewed health and relief of discomfort for the entire family. Dr. Jarryd Imoto, DC

Location: Woodbury

The Wellness Way – Woodbury

Dr. Jarryd Imoto, Associate Doctor of Chiropractic at The Wellness Way – Woodbury, has over a decade of experience in helping patients achieve the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves. Growing up, Dr. Jarryd was often injured during childhood athletics, which provided him with the opportunity to experience firsthand the life-changing benefits of chiropractic care. Inspired by his personal experience, he worked as a chiropractic assistant focusing on soft tissue treatment for several years before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University. During the first three years after graduating, Dr. Jarryd practiced chiropractic care focusing on injury rehabilitation in Seattle, Washington before realizing his passion for guiding patients through their health challenges with empathy and a wellness-based approach to care. He returned to Minnesota in 2023 and found The Wellness Way, where his extensive chiropractic experience and compassionate nature could flourish.

Dr. Jarryd is motivated to be the best professional for his patients, building a strong rapport while advocating for a whole-body approach to wellness. In his free time, Dr. Jarryd participates in a variety of sports – from soccer and pickleball to rollerblading and disc golf – cherishing the active time outdoors as often as possible. He also loves ironic puns and the occasional cheesy dad joke – if they’re dairy free, of course.

About Our Events

What is your definition of health? At The Wellness Way, we recognize that most people have been conditioned to believe how modern-day healthcare practices are the experts of restoration and preventative medicine. However, our perception of the way the body functions differs from what is traditionally taught. Therefore, we conduct regular informational events to communicate how we view various systems in the human body. Our take on subjects such as hormones, inflammation, autoimmunity, metabolic syndrome, cancer, thyroid health, etc., strays away from “traditional” aspects. We value our patients’ ability to engage with their healthcare journey, which is why we hope by attending these events they achieve accountability and can take charge of their own bodies for a healthier future.
