About The Wellness Way in Beaverton, Oregon
We understand that common is not normal, and unlike the restrictive healthcare mentality, we dig deeper to find answers to life-restricting health challenges.
We focus on overcoming the three main causes of interference in the body — trauma, toxins, and thoughts — to go beyond symptom-based care and address your unique physiology in a way that allows your mind and body to find an individualized path back to better health.
We don’t guess, we test; rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, we utilize the most in-depth testing and cutting-edge diagnostic tools to uncover the hidden sources of health problems.
We provide the essential guidance to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles through a combination of testing, individual plans, and one-on-one guidance to restore your body to total wellness.

Dr. Steph Tilden, DC
Dr. Steph Tilden believes in supporting and guiding patients to take control of their health and wellness with the Wellness Way approach. She believes that through consultations, lab testing, adjustments, and nutrition, a patient can truly find the answers to their health questions and a clear path to follow to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
In 2015, Dr. Steph Tilden received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. While at Palmer she was chosen to work in the Radiology Department, where she received in-depth experience and further training in radiology. She also worked with the community in Davenport, IA, and surrounding areas as an intern at the Davenport Outreach Clinic and Community Health Care Clinic in Moline, IL. While at the Community Health Care Clinic, she was one of two students to be chosen to work closely with the supervising doctors to further her training in clinical research and writing peer-reviewed studies.
In February 2015, before receiving her degree, Dr. Steph traveled to Hyderabad, India to participate in a clinic abroad program. Over the course of 3 weeks, she and 40 other students of Chiropractic gave over 5000 free adjustments at schools, hospitals, and throughout the community. This opportunity provided her with hands-on experience treating many complex symptoms and conditions. After graduation, Dr. Steph returned to Cedar Rapids, IA to work with a Wellness Way clinic before moving to Oahu, HI. She was able to spend 3 years experiencing island life before returning to the mainland for an opportunity to own a Wellness Way in the city of Beaverton, OR.
Dr. Steph has done extensive training while in school and after graduation. She completed a 300-hour training in Gonstead Chiropractic, and a dual 300-hour training in Clinical Nutrition and Integrative Health Practitioner from the College of Integrative Medicine. In addition, over the last 3 years, Dr. Steph has also received a 500-hour certification as a yoga practitioner, completed training as a placenta encapsulation specialist, currently working on 5 certifications as a doula in birth, post-partum, breastfeeding, early childhood development, and childbirth educator. Her most recent training is working on completing a 200-hour training as a meditation teacher as well.
In her free time, Dr. Steph loves spending time with her husky/lab mix, Monkey. She loves hiking in beautiful Oregon, visiting the coast, yoga, traveling, experiencing new cultures, trying new healthy restaurants, meeting new people, and sharing her health journey along the way.
