Get the morning started right with this happy kick-starter coffee recipe! Cacao is great for your hormones, and everyone loves chocolate. This recipe also has another superfood we love- maca! Maca root is an adaptogen that’s mildly nutty with a butterscotch or malty flavor. Adaptogens are herbs that help the body respond to stresses and support proper physiological function. This coffee recipe will have you ready to conquer the stresses of the day.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Organic coffee
  • 1/2 teaspoon of organic raw cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons of organic coconut or almond milk
  • Raw, unfiltered, organic honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or ginger
  • 1 tablespoon raw maca powder

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pour a cup of coffee leaving room for additional ingredients.
  2. Use a milk frother to blend in cup.
  3. Enjoy!
