Looking for a healthy spin on your mashed potatoes? Try these mashed sweet potatoes! Sweet potatoes are healthy! They are full of fiber, so they don’t spike your blood sugar. They’re also full of healthy nutrients like potassium, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A. Plus, they’re full of tons of healthy antioxidants.

Total Prep Time: 1 hour Makes: 4-5 servings

  • 2 pounds of organic sweet potatoes
  • 15 ounces of organic cashew milk
  • organic cinnamon and nutmeg
  • sea salt and organic pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Prick sweet potatoes with a fork a few times, then bake for about 45-60 minutes or until tender.
  4. When sweet potatoes are cool, peel off the skin.
  5. Over medium-low heat, mash sweet potatoes. Add cashew milk in increments.
  6. Season potatoes to taste; maybe add a slice of organic/dairy-free butter and enjoy!
