These gluten-free, chocolate chip cookies are sooo good and come highly recommended by The Wellness Way staff. *Remember to buy organic and avoid your food allergies when making this recipe! If you don’t know your food allergies, get them tested soon!

INGREDIENTS:

¾ cup avocado oil

1 cup coconut sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp sea salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup unsweetened applesauce

2 cups gluten-free, all-purpose flour

½ cup dairy-free chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Mix oil, coconut sugar, baking soda, sea salt, vanilla extract, and applesauce.
  3. Mix in flour one cup at a time.
  4. Add chocolate chips.
  5. Use a tablespoon measurer to shape and drop dough.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

    Hello!! I’m wondering if you’ve ever tried using coconut flour in this recipe? And if so, if you’d change the amount? I know it can make things pretty dry. Thanks!

      Hi Brittany! Sorry for the late reply. To convert to coconut flour in recipes, it’s usually recommended to use 1/4 cup of coconut flour for every cup of regular flour and add an additional egg. It may or may not work for this recipe, but you can give it a try!
